Chapter 3
  We all be trippin with spiders

Raven

Beron gave us some of his ponies to borrow, for the journey so we do not get killed by Orcs...like I did. I was going to share a pony with Suzan but Beron stopped her.
"I have something that belonged to your mother," he said as he walked towards the barn and what came out was a beautiful white horse, I stare at awe as the horse trollaped towards Suzan. She has the same face I had, the horse whinned as it came towards her and set its nose on her hands. Suzan looked at the horse and smile while she was petting it, the horse moved its head up and down whinning as Suzan laughed.
"her name is Amdrometa," Beron said "she will guied through the darkness in darker times,"
"thank you Beron," Suzan said "I will take good care of her,"
I mounted on to my pony as Suzan mounted on her horse. I was kind of Jelouse...I mean that is a beautiful horse. White as the light in Suzans heart...kind, beautiful, loylay, and smart. Thorin looked at Suzan as he was smiling at her, he was also blushing...hehehe Thorin. Suzan trolloped towards Thorin I as she looked down at him. They both smiled at eachother as they moved the reins for the horses and ponies to move.
"go now while you still have the light," Beron said "your hunters are not far behind,"
I whipped the reins to my pony as it moved and ran with the others. Tara and Felton followed us as they took flight flying towards our desenation. I looked ahead at Suzan, she was riding in grace on that white Horse...is she being a troll?...or is she just having too much fun with this? She did look like a goddess...or maybe Daenerys from Games Of Throne. I looked and watched Tara and Felton swoop down towards us as they were flying atop our heads. We finally saw some sort of black lining in the distance of the feild. I realized we where finally at the edge of Mirkwood. We stopped all of our horses as I looked into the Forest...it was black...and...dead. I licked my lips then bit the bottom of my lip. I unmounted on my pony as I watched Gandalf walk into an entrance. He looked around seeing his surroundings, I saw Suzan ride and stop next to me as she unmounted on her horse. I looked at her as she looked at Gandalf holding the riens of her horse.
"can I ask you something?" I asked
Suzan looked at me "what?" she asked
"...were you showing off on that horse?" I asked
"...maybe a little," she said "really you should know why,"
"oh right, don't worry about it Suzan, he loves you, I saw him blush when you mounted on the horse," I explained
"he really did?" Suzan asked
I smiled "I thought you were like Daenerys from a minute...and Thorin as Khal Drogo,"
she smiled and pushed my face as I laughed. Suzan and me looked back at Gandalf who was still looking around.
"Here lies our path," Gandalf called
"no sign of the Orcs," Dawlin said "we have luck on our side,"
"don't you think its werid?" I asked Dawlin "They would be almost here,"
"why do you care," Dawlin asked "do you want them to come here?"
"no its just..." I could not finish the sentance
"its because they ran off," Suzan said "they ran off because of Beron,"
"well good," Bofur said "we won't have too much trouble then,"
"set the ponies lose," Gandalf called "let them return to their master,"
I looked where Gandalf was looking and saw Beron from far away looking at us. Suzan looked at her horse as she stroked it one last time. She kissed its nose as she took off the the stuff and let the horse run back to Berons place. As the rest did the same.
"this forest, feels...sick," Bilbo said "as a deasies lies upon it,"
I looked at the forest again and felt something cold go up my spine. God Bilbo was right, it did feel werid.
"is there no other way around?" Bilbo asked
"unless we want to go 200 miles North," Gandalf said "even father down south,"
"well shit," I said I sat down on the ground as I touch my stomach where Azog stabbed me at the fire battle. I can almost feel the pain or how it went through my skin...how I felt my blood rushing through me to turn into a monster. As for Bilbo he put his hand in his pocket were he was holding something, he seemed focus with it...as he feeling something. Suzan looked at Bilbo as she watched him...she seemed to be confused in what state he was in. Suzan walked towards him as she tapped on his shoulder. Bilbo flinched and looked at Suzan.
"are you alright?" she asked
"yes," Bilbo said "I am,"
"okay," Suzan said
Nori was undoing Gandalfs horse when Gandalf came walking out in haste.
"not my horse," Gandalf called "I need it,"
everybody looked at Gandalf inculding me who I was freaking out.
"your not leaving us," Bilbo said
"I would not do this unless I had to," Gandalf said
me and Suzan looked at him worried "will you get us home then?" Suzan asked
"do not worry Suzan," Gandalf said "I promised I would get you home...and I keep my word...Raven,"
I looked up at him "yeah?" I asked
"may I speak to you alone," Gandalf said
I nodded as I followed him away from the others. We finally had a descent spot to talk as he looked at me. I looked up at him.
"Raven...I know you never met a dragon," Gandalf said
"how did you know?" I asked
He was talking about my fake adventure I told the others how I met and tamed a dragon named Draco who was just in a movie called Dragonheart. Everbody called me Dragon tamer after that and I was living in a lie.
"many people who tame dragons had their lives changed...many of them live lonely and grumpy, or they live with the dragons...you have neither," Gandalf expalined "you just insert yourself into the story,"
"I know," I huskily said "I just...I just wanted to be noticed and...I thought I would be excepted,"
"I know," Gandalf said "your tired of living in the shadows, you want to be seen in the light,"
I nodded "are you mad?" I asked
"no," Gandalf said "you know you have to tell the truth somehow to them,"
I sighed trying not to cry. Yeah I'm pathetic, telling a lie to everybody and they all look up to me thinking I'm gonna save everybody. I sighed as Gandalf looked at me and I looked back at him, I sniffed up my last tears and lifted my head up high looking at Gandalf.
"I'll try," I said "I will tell the truth,"
Gandalf nodded and put a hand on my shoulder "you are a good person Raven, they do see it in you,"
"I'm not sure about Thorin," I said
"he will deal," Gandalf said "but I am sure you can some how defeat Smaug in your power with Suzan,"
I nodded as I was walking away "RAVEN," Gandalf called
I turned to look at him as he walked to his horse "remember, control your powers, even if the truth hurts...contain your anger,"
I lifted a brow confused. What does he mean? I know the truth about me being a goddess and such but...what else could be so horrible and dangerous. I nodded at Gandalf as I met up with the others.
Gandalf went towards us bringing his horse with him. Suzan looked at me as she, was going to ask what me and Gandalf talked about but she was going to wait till later. Gandalf stopped right in front of Bilbo as he froze looking at Gandalf as if Bilbo felt like Gandalf knows something wrong with him.
"you changed Bilbo Baggins," Gandalf said "your not the same hobbit once in the Shire,"
Bilbo was silent for a bit until he finally spoke "I was going to tell you," Bilbo said "I...found something in the goblin tunnles,"
"found what?" Gandalf asked "what did you find,"
I turned to look at Gandalf and Bilbo talking to each other. As they stared sat each other for awhile until finally "...my courage," Bilbo finished
"well good, thats good," Gandalf said happily "you'll need it,"
I looked at Bilbo as he had his right hand near his right vest pocket holding it close to him. What is he hiding?
"I will meet you at the overlord before the slops of Erebor," Gandalf spoke to us gearing the horse up "keep the map and key safe at all times,"
I breathed in softly knowing that we were not going to be protected at all times and now me and Suzan are going to have to risk our necks to keep us all together, I mean I bet they are going to all look at me and Suzan for help just because were goddess jezum. Tara flew and landed on my shoulder as she puffed her self up cocking her head from side to side.
As Gandalf was about to get on his horse, he slowly looked at Thorin with an annoyed look "do not enter that mountain without me," Gandalf means it and I hope Thorin will grow a brain and listen to Gandalf. After that Felton landed on Suzan's shoulder as he cuddled next to her face puffing himself up to keep warm.
"This is not the Green Wood of old," Gandalf said "the very air of the forest is heavy with illusion,"
I growled. Great we have to deal with this shit as well, I don't want to get high at all. I stared at the forest while Gandalf continued.
"it will seek to enter your mind, and lead you astray" he said
"lead us astray?" Bilbo asked "what does that mean?"
"you must stay on the path," Gandalf said "do not leave it, if you do, you'll never find it again,"
Tara was shaking as she looked at the forest. She flapped her wing on my head.
"Mistress," Tara said "are you sure you want to go through this, we can find another way,"
"Tara it will be fine," I said "and did we talk about you calling me Mistress,"
"sorry," Tara said
"remember," Gandalf called "stay on the path,"
"come on," Thorin said "we must move quickly,"
I watched as everybdy followed Thorin into the forest, Tara flapped her wings as she went into the forest as Felton followed after her. Suzan was behind Ori as she stopped and looked behind her seeing me staring at the forest.
"Raven," she called
I blinked twice and saw Suzan looking at me. I cleared my throat and walked towards Suzan weary of the woods. Then I had the courage to go in with them and set off.
"what ever happens," I said "Keep Holding On,"

Suzan

The woods was so dark and the air felt heavy, Gandalf was not kidding. I tripped but I caught myself by grabbing a branch. After I moved it, I saw goo all over my hand. I groaned in disguest wiping it on my leg. God that was nasty ugh. Thorin was in front as he took his dwarf ax and stompped onto the ground to look for the stone path. he swiped his feet on the ground and saw the stone path.
"This way!" Thorin called as everybody followed him.
I looked around me as I saw particles fly around us or past us. Raven was stumbling a little as she grabbed a hold of a tree, she coughed but she got up and kept on walking. I kept getting a headache and it was pounding my head too. After that I slipped as I fell and rolled down a hill, Thorin turned as he saw and went after me. I stopped rolling as I started coughing breathing in the dust and dirt. I was trying to get up but my headache was getting worse, after that, I felt hands around my arms. I looked up seeing Thorin, he had a concerened face as he took his hand on my face stroking his thumb against my cheek. I smiled as he helped me up, Raven was at the top waitng as she grabbed my hand and helped me then she helped Thorin up.
"we better get out of here soon," Raven said to Thorin
"unless you have any ideas?" Thorin asked
I looked around me while I was listening to Raven and Thorin talking...I heard whispering. I turned around to see nothing, then I heard it again. I kept turning around me wondering what the hell it was. Bofur looked at me confused, he walked towards me carefully.
"Suzan?" he asked "are you okay?"
"do you hear it," I whispered...am I going insane?
Bofur thought for a moment "all I can hear is Thorin and Raven talking,"
I kept hearing it...what the hell is it? Please stop please I'm sorry what did I do wrong. I put hands to my ears covering them trying to block it, then there was a ringing noise...I was squeazing my eyes shut as I kept turning and turning.
"JUST MAKE IT STOP," I cried
Raven and Thorin turned looking at me as they both ran towards me after then I felt hands on my shoulder, I pushed the person as the earth moved making the person but then I saw Raven on the ground, I gasped, she tried to get up but she looked at me with a bruise. Bilbo and Oin helped her up as Raven looked at me confused and shocked.
"I'm sorry, I-I just," I studdred
"damn that packed a punch Suzan," Raven said feeling her face "what happened?"
"I heard voices," I explained "it was like, the voice was cursing me, shaming me. Did you hear them?"
"no," Raven said "I just was saying ho you could lead us out?"
I stared at Raven confused "how?" I asked
"The earth powers in you can sense anything that has life not death right?" Raven explained
"well how am I suppose to know Raven, I was kiddnapped by Azog half the time, and barley learning that my famliy was slaughtered by Orcs," I explained
"okay okay sorry," Raven said "never mind we don't need you then,"
"I didn't say I won't try," I said "I'm just saying I don't know,"
"we got ourselves a cat fight," Kili whispered to his brother
"well excuse me," Raven said putting her hands up "if you haven't noticed that my mother is dead too so don't think you can have everybody's pity,"
"look who's talking," I said "no wonder you have to pretend what your not, taking pity on people as an advantage,"
"excuse me?" Raven said
"oh? Did I just awaken the dragon in you dragon tammer,"
"Shut up!"
"Both of you stop," Thorin Bilbo
"stay out of this shorty," Raven growled
"girls stop," Bilbo said as stood next to Thorin "these are not the girls I know,"
"Shut it big feet," I sneered
Bilbo looked at me baffled. Bilbo remembered what Gandalf said "it will lead you astray," Thorin went between both of us as he looked at me.
"Suzan come now," he said "the forest is getting to you mind,"
"you sure about that?" I said "king under the mountain, a dragon took your home, I thought your race was stronger than the elves,"
It hit Thorin hard but he knows this is not me, so then he walked towards me as he then took my hands.
"I don't mean to do this," Thorin said then slapped me across the face. I felt my face then looked Thorin.
"what was that for?" I asked
"okay shes back," Bofur said
"I just had a werid dream," I explained
"oh what you went Warg riding with Azog," Raven said crossing her arms
I looked at Raven confused "what? Raven are you okay?"
"you tell me?" Raven said
After that somebody smacked her across the face, it was Bifur. he mumbled in his language pointing at his head. Then looked at the rest of his comrades doing the same thing pointing at his head.
"ow what the fuck," Raven said as she rubbed her cheek "thanks for the wake up call,"
"okay now Raven is back," Bofur said
"what happened?" I asked
"you two where fighting and spatting at each other," Bilbo explained
"and the only way wake you was slapping you across the face," Nori explained "it was actually kinda funny,"
me and Raven glared at Nori as Dori slapped him upside the head. I walked towards Raven as she saw me coming. I put a hand on her shoulder she did the same.
"Mistress's," said a voice we looked up to see Felton "we found the way through the forest, its a little bit east,"
"good work Felton," I called
We both looked at the company as I nodded knowing were going to be okay. We started walking again following the Felton and Tara. Then I thought I saw something moving. I looked back but...there was nothing, I waited for a minute but nothing happened. So I caught up with the others to head on out of this forest.

We have been walking for hours and its starting to kill me, really it has. I feel like Raven is going to vomit from this air as she was stumbling. I felt okay but I'm worried about Raven, she kept grabbing tree branches and vines. Bilbo kept her up though, I stood with Thorin as he looked a little grumpy with the webs all over his hair, and the air that was making him sick. I took his hand as he looked at me, I smiled showing I was here for him, I am here with him to suffer with the others.
"Air!" Bofur cried "I need air!"
"My head!," Oin cried "its swimming,"
"I think I'm going to die," Raven cried as well as she yelled and punched a tree causing it to make a spark of flame on it as I gasped, She was huffing and puffing as she looked at me sweating...and her eyes...they looked different. Like she was staring into my soul, or she just wants to devour me. After that she shook her head and was feeling dizzy and looked at me confused as I still had a terrified face on me. I walked towards her as I put her arm around behind my neck as I let her walk next to me.
"That was werid," Golin said
"aye, ya never see that in girls before," Dawlin agrees as some of the dwarves watched me and Raven follow the rest of the dwarves.
We kept walking and has been houres for us. Raven did not feel any better, she was limping as she was swaeting more than ever...and she has a fever!
"STOP, STOP!" I cried
Everybody stopped as they turned looking at both of us.
"What is it now?!" Balin called
"Raven has a fever," I cried as I set her down leaning against a tree as she was breathing heavily. Bilbo was pushing everybody away trying to get to Raven as he dropped his stuff and kneeled next to her, he felt her head...she was burning. Bilbo wipped her brow, getting rid of the sweat. After that, Ravens eyes popped open as Bilbo stopped and looked at her. Her eyes were not normal, her pupils were slit while her whole eyes are bright red like blood. She quickly turned her head to look at Bilbo, he froze not making a move. She turned her head to look at me as I did not flinch.
"I...need...BLOOD," screeched as she grasped the tree roots...she was braking them...she was going insane. She was shaking and jolting, Bilbo grabbed her hands bu he could not pull them away from the tree roots, Bilbo then saw a hand grab his wrist. HE looked and saw Ravens hand crushing his wrist. He looked and saw Raven snarling with sharp teeth.
"I want your blood,"
"BILBO!?"
Bilbo jolted as he looked around and saw Raven kneeling next to him. He looked around and saw everybody was looking around...it was just a nightmare. He was breathing heavliy closing his eyes and felt like he was going to cry. Raven wipped the sweat away from his brow confused what was wrong with him.
"Bilbo are you okay?" Raven asked stroking his brown sliky hair.
he nodded as Raven hugged him. Bilbo did not let go and hugged her tight, he loves her very much, he did not want her turning to a beast killing everything in her sight, he was afraid of her but...she was there for him, she wanted to help him, and he wanted to help her. Raven smiled lovling as she kissed his forehead. He sighed feeling a bit better, knowing that it was just a dream, and the fear was getting the better of him. He knows that Raven would never hurt him. He trusts her, he knows Raven can fight it. Bilbo looked at Raven.
"What happen?" he asked
"when we were walking," Raven explained "you were getting dizzy then you fell face first, and black out"
Bilbo groaned as he strechted his arms. He looked around him then he looked at Raven "were lost still right?" Bilbo asked
Raven nodded "we lost the path a few minutes ago, then Tara and Felton got sick from the air in the forest."
After that Tara came by and landed on Bilbo's head looking at him upside down "well looks who awake," Tara said then she lifted herself to cough and was hacking hard as her voice now became rasp "this forest is gonna kill me if we don't get out,"
Raven grabbed Tara carefully setting her on the ground "well get out don't worry," she said "if only we could find a sign to find a path of some sort,"

Raven

We had to get out soon or we're gonna go insane for the rest of our lives. I sighed as I layed next to Bilbo looking up at the tree's. We both sighed at the same time, this was hell already, I was thinking how stupid this was. I looked to see Suzan comforting Felton as he is trying to stay calm, he was being jumpy all of sudden seeing shadows as they crawled everywhere, he was cuddled up next to Suzan shaking as Suzan was stroking him. The dwarves were more miserable than ever, I think even Bofur does not even want to talk to me, nor does Balin either, jeez.
"we need to head east," Thorin called
"to where?" I asked "we have been walking for houres and we have gotten nothing, maybe me and Tara can look in air?"
"and how do you suppose you do that?" Thorin asked
I made a frown looking at him like "are you seroiues?" then pointed up in the air as he looked up seeing the tree's. He looked at me as I lifted a brow.
"I don't think its nesscery dragon tamer," Thorin said
Shit he still calls me that, I was hoping he calls me Raven or Lady Raven...Gandalf is right, I might have to tell the truth to them but...not now, not while everybody is still being shit heads.
"come on Thorin," I said "there is no sense in sitting around like ducks please let me do it,"
but Thorin was ignoring me talking with Dwalin as I was baring my teeth and growled annoyed stomping away. I then sat down as I crossed my arms acting like a five year old, it was so unfair, I am trying to help but no, dwarf head wants to be all majestic...pain in my ass. I turned to see if Bilbo was okay...but he was gone. I was freaking out now that he was gone, where did he go. I got up as I looked up around and then I saw somebody climbing...it was Bilbo...what the hell is he doing, and he has Tara on his shoulder with him. I panicked as I ran towards the tree he was climbing on while Suzan saw what I was doing. She grabbed my leg while I looked down on who did that.
"what are you doing?" she asked
"Bilbo is up there I gotta help him, god knows if hes gonna fall," I explained
After that we heard yelling and arguing as we saw the dwarves arguing with eachother as it looks they were gonna punch eachother. Suzan looked at me then at the dwarves, she made an irrataed growl as she went to stop the dwarves from punching eachother in the face. I followed Bilbo up the tree as I was trying to grab a hold of the tree's, it felt a little better and was easier to breath while I was getting higher and higher...finally breathing in air. I looked up seeing Bilbo but, he was silent for awhile as I caught up as I grabbed his ankle, I freaked out as he cried ina yelp and kicked my face, I yelled in pain holding covering my eye.
"jeasues Bilbo its just me," I said looking at him with now a black eye coming.
"oh goodnes Raven I'm so sorry," he said grabbing my hand as he helped me up.
Bilbo resvied a peck on the head from Tara's beak with a nasty glare, Bilbo cried in pain as he looked at Tara "I said I was sorry," Bilbo said
"I don't care," Tara said "do that again and I'm gonna peck ur eyes out,"
"Tara please," I said "he said he was sorry,"
Tara glared at me then at Bilbo then puffed her feathers "its my job that your okay," she said.
"and I appercaite it," I said "but remember Bilbo is a friend still, and my love,"
Bilbo looked at me and smiled while I smiled back while I felt a hand slide into mine as he took it and kissed it softly. I blushed smiling while Tara rolled her eyes looking away.
After that, there was something bluw that passed both of me and Bilbo's face's. We looked on what it was...then something else blue came...then there was a swarm of blue buterflies that started flying in the air as me and Bilbo looked up seeing them as we both smiled seeing them flutter in the sunlight, it was beautiful. I could not describe it. I laughed softly seeing them flutter around me. Tara grabbed a couple and ate them while they passed by as she thought they tasted good and kept eating them. I looked behind Bilbo's head...to see a lake!
"Bilbo look," I said pointing towards the lake, he turned as he saw what I found...he then takes a tree branch and moves and laughs.
"AND THE LONLEY MOUNTAIN," he cried "WERE ALMOST THERE!"
I looked, Tara did as well as we stare at awe...we were so close. I was getting excited, I could finally get to Smaug, and maybe just maybe.
"EVERYBODY WE ARE ALMOST THERE," I called down "SUZAN CAN YOU HEAR ME!"
There was no response...Bilbo tried himself as he called down "CAN ANYBODY HEAR US?!"
Me and Bilbo were getting nervous...whats going on. We both then heard cracking  from the distance as Bilbo and me snapped our heads up. We both looked at each other then we looked out to the distance...."HELLO?" Bilbo called towards the snapping and cracking. We noticed that it looked something big. And Dangerous.
"Raven get down," Bilbo said setting a hand on the back of my neck lowering himself with me as we both stayed hidden "did you see anything?" I asked looked at him.
Bilbo shook his head, he looked like he was trying to look too. Something was in the distance and it was not friend at all. All of a sudden I heard the whispering again, the evil whispers slithered in my hearing causing me to breath loudly and frighten. Bilbo was about to stand but he felt something on his foot as he looked down and saw they were cob webs, and he was losing his balance "oh come on!" Bilbo cursed then he cried out as he fell. I gasped looking down registering he was falling.
"BILBO!" I cried as I grabbed a tree branch to swing, but the branch moved as I was falling as well. Tara freaked out as she flapped her wings and tried everything to stop from plummeting into my death. I then felt something grab my hand...I gasped and looked up and saw it was Bilbo.
"I got you," he said as he held in his strength best he can for holding me up. I used two hands to hold his...I so hope I am not hurting him. I looked at the tree branch Bilbo was holding...and followed it to something moving towards him looking at him. Bilbo noticed as he turned and cocked his head wondering what the hell it is...Oh my god no no. Its a giant spider that Radaghast told us about! Bilbo's eyes and mine widen in fear as it snarled and screech at Bilbo as he cried out in fear. I took a free hand and threw a fire ball at the Spiders face as it hit square in the face making it drop Bilbo and me as we both cried out as we fell. Bilbo then landed on a web cobbed trap while I hit a branch on my side and then fell on a huge branch, as I groaned and shook my head, I looked up and saw Bilbo was struggling..."BILBO!" I cried as I started to climb up to save him, I looked and saw the spider who I burned its face was still coming as it crawled it's way towards Bilbo as it snarled. I went up as fast as I can but then something grabbed my leg and dragged me down as I screamed in fright, I was taken down to the ground and was attacked by another spider as I tried kicking and flailing my arms around but I was being consumed in darkness and sticky soft silk as my screams were now muffled.
